Difficult Day

Was on critical care outreach today. The hospital, its staff and its patients is already changed. We still have not really started receiving the expected surge of cases, but the expectation is that it is coming. Extraordinary effort, from King's Critical Care as we brace for impact. Spent a lot of time taking to staff and patients-much more than usual. The outreach nurses are having to learn to adapt quickly.
